Grand father's wisdoms.
On 30th April 2008, my grand father passed away. His passing is a bitter-sweet event for me as he had lived for 96 years, and had spent the past 5 years in a nursing home without much quality of life.
I reflected on the life's lessons i had learnt from him:
1. Time, if not used properly, will be against you.
2. Always help your friend to finish well (in life's transition events).
3. Don't wake up and then get up. Instead get up and then you will wake up.
4. Don't build your life with somebody else's opinion.
5. Discipline might not made you a successful man, but all successful men are disciplined. So be disciplined.
6. If one has misdiagnosed a problem, then one is unlikely to prescribe an effective cure.
Yes, I will miss him, beside being a kind grand father, he is also my chinese chess buddy.
